We present a conceptual model forbuilding hyperstories. Hyperstories are the hypermedia version of literary stories. Themodel combines static anddynamic aspects of acomputer environment such asa nested context, allowing navigation through avirtual world. Theflexibility of the model supports things such asthe existence of objects to be acted on by the learner, autonomous objects orcharacters who represent entities that live independently fromusers, the reusability of entities and environments to avoid repetitive work, and aclear separation between content representation and interface management. |
