Abstract | ||

In this paper, we propose an effective resource allocation scheme in macrocell/femtocell OFDMA uplink networks. A cross-layer mitigation algorithm is designed firstly to avoid the severe cross-layer interference which will decouple the resource allocation between two networks. Then utilizing the result of cross-layer mitigation, a resource allocation strategy including power allocation and frequency assignment is proposed to meet the UE's target data rate and obtain better throughput performance. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve significant performance gains over the traditional methods, especially in view of the guarantee of UE's quality of service (QoS) and throughput performance. |
