Title
Creation of a Guideline for Tailoring Development Processes Using Project Metrics Data
Abstract
A project management process for an organization is usually defined to be adapted to a wide range of projects in order to minimize costs and risks. Consequently, the project management process is usually customized to suit each particular project in its planning stage. This customization work is relatively easy for a proficient and experienced project manager, but it is very difficult for an inexperienced manager. To assist these inexperienced managers, we have created a guideline for customizing the project management process using project metrics data. This paper introduces the guideline in part, and presents the review process as an example of method of how to create a tailoring guideline.
