Recently, data hiding has been proposed to improve the performance of error concealment algorithms. In this paper, a new data hiding-based error concealment algorithm is proposed, that allows to increase the video quality in H.264/AVC wireless video transmission and Real-Time applications. Data hiding is used for carrying to the decoder the values of some inner pixels to be used to reconstruct lost macro blocks into Intra frames through a bi-linear interpolation process. |
