The spatio-temoral characteristics of statistical data was research challenges in Statistical GIS. In this paper, give an effective method to implement spatio-temporal organization and query of statistical data. First, introducing the research situation of spatio-temporal data model and analyzing the spatio-temporal feature of statistical data. Then proposing a data model using object-oriented method and introduce how to realize it in the database. At last, introducing t some of the most common query algorithm in the Statistical GIS. Proved by programming realization, long-term statistical data can be effectively organized and stored in the database, spatio-temporal snapshot query and sequences query can be well executed in this way. |
