Abstract | ||

Based on a government research project for Maritime Intelligent Transportation System, this paper first proposes the application concepts, objectives, and then investigates the methods or tools for extracting vessel traffic patterns and identifying high-risk spots from a database of vessel reports received via a network of automatic identification systems along the coast of Taiwan. |
