We introduce a new approach to shape estimation from photometric stereo images. The input images are matched through an optical flow algorithm, with the matching direction iteratively refined. The resulting disparity field is then used in a structure-from-motion reconstruction which does not require reflectance map information. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved. |
