Regelung des lagerlosen Segmentmotors (Control Concept for the Bearingless Segment Motor)
Abstract
This article introduces a new actuator principle for magnetically levitated drive systems. The resulting bearingless motor is a subtype of the bearingless slice motor. A proper modelling is done and a suitable control scheme is presented by the help of nonlinear feedback control. For easier implementation of the control concept on a digital signal processor development tools have been created. These tools help calculating finite element simulations (Matmag) and coding the processor (M2C). Both of these tools are based on the numerical algebra software Matlab developed by Mathworks. Finally two bearingless segment motor prototypes with different operation behaviour are presented.
