As many Low-Cost Carrier Airlines have increased their investment in B2C eAirline systems, it is crucial to measure the success
of such investments. The DeLone and McLean’s model is one model which shown to be a useful framework for assessing success
at the organisational level but has not been validated from the customer perspective. This research provides the first empirical
test of an adaptation of DeLone and McLean’s 2004 IS success model through the assessment of Low-Cost Carrier eAirline systems from the perspective of individual users. A
total of 243 useable responses were collected in order to examine the validation of DeLone and McLean’s 2004 IS success model from the customer perspective. Structural Equation Modelling techniques are applied to test the validation
of the modified DeLone and McLean’s eCommerce system success model. The findings reveal several important implications for
eAirline research and practice. Limitations of the study which should be addressed in future research are discussed and some
recommendations for further research are provided.
