Title
Literature mining of blood flow regulatory mechanisms for finding cross context relations
Abstract
In this paper we present an approach for finding relations between two concepts in existing literature. Relations can be manifested as simple causal relations, when one concept influences the other, or as more complex mutual relations that involve identifying common factors between the concepts. The presented approach is based on literature mining methods like document similarity clustering, keyword extraction and concept visualization. Using these methods, relations between literature dealing with thermoregulation and literature dealing with endothelium were found and papers that can be used for better understanding of temperature control mechanisms within the human blood flow control were identified.
