Asynchronous Parallel Discontinuous Finite Element Method
Abstract
We describe a new iterative, asynchronous, parallel algorithmfor the solution of partial differential equations, based on discontinuousfinite-element methods. We use the domain-decomposition methodsto decompose a large problem into a number of smaller problems thatcan be computed in parallel.
