Land cover classification using multi-source images by Tau model
Abstract
This paper proposed a decision fusion method based on Tau model for land cover classification. The method explicitly takes into account conditional correlation existed between different classification results from multi-sensor data. The proposed method was evaluated and compared with an existing decision fusion method using Landsat TM/ETM+ and ENVISAT ASAR data from Beijing urban area. The results showed that the proposed method produced comparable with or slightly better than the traditional fusion methods.
