Winning Subordinate Relations And Winning Coalitions In Social Choice Functions With Subordinate Relations
Abstract
The social choice function R = g(R-1, R-2,...,R-n,U) with a binary relation U called a subordinate relation on the group decision-makers is discussed. There sometimes exists a subordinate relation such that a member's preference relation can only be reflected to the social one. We call it the winning subordinate relation as the relation makes the member the winner at the group decision-making. This relation may be important for the member to know the winning subordinate relation. The relationship between winning subordinate relations and winning coalitions is considered and five theorems are presented.
