In this paper we present a framework to implement compilation flows targeting architectures with an heterogeneous structure. We will show techniques for analyzing and transforming the code of the input source program with the aim to identify critical computational kernels. In particular we will describe an high level compilation layer designed to build analytical information completely derived by static analysis and its back-end towards architecture specific layers. Finally we will show a compilation flow targeting an hybrid architecture consisting of a VLIW coupled with a reconfigurable core which exploits the capabilities of our framework. |
