Currently, students are using PCs as restricted users and therefore, their operations are limited. In particular, they are unable to build and manage servers. In this paper, we propose a cloud-based educational environment in which students can act as administrators. Clouds offer services that can be used over the network, and thus no high-performance machine is necessary on the network to provide these services. Using a virtual machine created in a cloud system, students can build and manage their own server as the super user. In this paper, we propose the creation of an educational environment in the Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud (UEC) based on Eucalyptus. |
