This paper presents a study of performance for a 3-D breast tumor detection system. The system is based on processing the scattered signals when a narrow pulse is transmitted from a set of antennas placed surrounding the breast. The 3-D system performance is evaluated by placing the tumor at any breast position, even at locations near the breast muscle where detection is more difficult. Results ar... |
