Title
On Working With The Concept Of Integration Ontologies
Abstract
While ontologies are becoming an accepted measure for computational information mapping, the definition of ontologies can lead to dead ends when integration of information is to be facilitated. Specialized ontologies tend to be impossible for the use in different contexts than the one they were defined for.In order to make the interoperation of different ontologies with different specializations possible for information exchange, the authors had developed a concept for integration ontologies. These serve as mediators, metamodeling the ontologies. The next challenge when integrating ontologically accessible information is the task of implementing the concept. This paper presents first experiences and implementation approaches that are under work.
