Based on an analysis of design and model in the aerofoil blade, carrying out second development by using the Solidworks and Visual Basic 6.0, a digital design method of geometric model for the impeller of aerofoil blades is provided by the silhouettes of the blade section zoomed which are gained by calling functions of Solidworks API in VB program, according to the existing silhouettes of the standard aerofoil blade section. Taking impellers of the G4-68 serial centrifugal fans as applying objects, the superiority in application of VB and Solidworks is embodied on the geometric model of aerofoil blade for impellers. © 2011 IEEE. |
