In this paper, we propose a load balancing routing protocol for wireless mesh networks based on Network Allocation Vector (NAV) with Directional AODV (D-AODV) to improve network performance. We use a hop count to discover a route between mesh router and gateway because it reduces path discovery over-head, and consider network conditions from NA V, which indicates traffic load in each mesh router, to find load balanced route. |
