Abstract | ||

This paper reports on experiences of using public domain software for teaching parallel programming. We describe the three packages used, namely superpascal, pvm, and alwan and assess their specific strengths and weaknesses. We describe our course activities to teach parallel programming and summarize our experiences made. |
