Abstract | ||

Recently, there has been an explosion in the design of color filter arrays (CFA). While CFAs used to be based on red, green and blue primary colors, there is also a trend for the design of CFAs that use non-RGB colors. Also, some demosaicing algorithms are now proposed that not only work for the popular Bayer CFA, but also for various types of CFAs. In this paper, we propose an approach for performing image resizing by using the generic demosaicing algorithm of Hor茅 et al. The experimental results show that our approach is reliable and the performances in image resizing are better than some joint demosaicing and zooming algorithms as well as some popular resizing algorithms such as the Bilinear algorithm. |
