Enterprise transformation inevitably requires knowledge that is neither resident in nor immediately available from outside the enterprise. Among the alternatives for obtaining this required knowledge is a collaborative research relationship between a university-based research team and the stakeholders involved in transformation. This chapter discusses some of the key issues in creating and sustaining such a relationship. |
