Title
Measuring Internal Reuse Of Object-Oriented Software Using Metrics Applicable To Uml Class And Sequence Diagrams
Abstract
This paper proposes a reuse measurement methodology for measuring amount of internal reuse in an object-oriented software through. both inheritance and non-inheritance mechanisms. A new metrics suite is proposed for measuring internal-reuse in static view. The paper shows how to compute the proposed metrics from UML class and sequence diagrams used as representations of the software and compares the proposed metrics with Kang and Bieman's. Measuring internal reuse in dynamic view is also presented.
