Title
MRAPF: Minimum RTT Asymmetric-Path First for Mobile Multi-homed End-to-End Transfer
Abstract
Perviously, we studied RTT measurement method in moblie multi-homed end-to-end transport. End-to-end delay is a primary concern for real-time applications and asymmetric-path selection has some special characterics to symmetric-path. Based on this, we propose an algorithm called Minimum RTT Asymmetric-Path First (MRAPF) for end-to-end transport path selection that takes into account the dynamic asymmetry over the available routes with special RTT measurement method adapted to asymmetric-path transfer environmen we has been proposed. An example is provided showing how a multimedia application could benefit from MRAPF.
