A CMOS-only micro touch pointer
Abstract
A direct-contact finger mouse realized in 0.7-/spl mu/m digital CMOS is presented. It is based on the motion detection of the fingerprint images acquired with a capacitive sensor. Stroking and tapping the chip surface with the finger causes movement of the cursor and clicking-like mouse.
