With the rapid development of computer vision, automatic face detection and tracking has becoming more and more attractive and is applied extensively to human-computer interaction, biometrics, and video surveillance. In this paper, Viola-Jones object detector was adopted to find candidate faces in frames, and TLD (Tracking-Learning-Detection) tracking strategy was combined with it to realize robust longtime face tracking. At the same time. TLD was extended to track multiple faces in real time. Experimental results in real life scenarios show that the proposed system can efficiently detect multi-faces and track them for long time robustly. |
