The electronic sharing of general scientific data can be a conplex but incredibly beneficial process We identify elements that must exist in a system designed for such a purpose and compare and contrast elements found in two different inplementations. Extending the analysis of these two implementations we propose a general framework for a general scientific data sharing Web Service and identify potential problems yet to be adequately solved for such a framework. |
