Many multi-level relational data models have been proposed in the literature but the conventional models of authorization
that have been designed for database systems supporting the hierarchical, network and relational models of data do not provide
adequate mechanisms to support controlled access of spatial objects and topological relationship based on spatial information.
We propose MLS/SDM, which is a spatial data model for multi-level secure environments in this paper. We also extend the multi-level
secure relational model to capture the operations and constraints required of a spatial database and add new ideas to build
the new multi-level secure spatial data model.
