Fine Grain Execution Control Of Procedure-Oriented Tasks On Computer Cluster Environment |
Abstract | ||

In this paper, we propose the fine grain execution control strategy of coarse grain tasks in order to realize the partial and incremental execution of tasks. In the traditional execution. control method, the executable condition which is calculated by the analysis of the data/control dependency relationships among tasks, is used. However, this method leads the execution delay of tasks, which prevent the effective parallel processing from being successful. In our execution, control method, the execution of tasks is controlled by the sub-condition which forms the executable condition. Tasks are reorganized into several incremental processing units so as to be executed incrementally by satisfaction of sub-condition. This fine grain execution control enables to decrease the execution delay of tasks, and thus makes effective parallel processing successful. |
