In this paper, a method has been developed to measure the weakness of the program using module weakness and different types of module coupling. The paper justifies the need of considering coupling effect on program weakness. Various types of coupling are computed using parameters/variables and module weakness is found using average number of live variables and average life of variables in the module. The module coupling and module weakness values are used to compute program weakness, which can be used to indicate the maintainability and testability of the program. |
