A biologically inspired light-adaptive CMOS vision chip is proposed in this paper We applied a saturating resistive network to a edge defection circuit for light-adaptation capability. The light-adaptation capability was quantitatively analyzed using a simple model of the saturating resistive element circuit. We confirmed the light-adaptation capability of the circuit using one-dimensional array of the 128 pixel. And the entire capability of the circuit was also investigated through the edge image of the two-dimensional array. |
