Title
Correcting Flicker in Color Motion Pictures
Abstract
Despite active research work in the field of flicker correction, all the published work to date only deals with black and white motion pictures. In this paper, we will take flicker correction into the color space and propose a method to solve the flicker correction problem in color motion pictures. The method is based on a simplified flicker parameter model developed by us in [5] which was originally used for flicker correction in black and white motion pictures. Test results show that the proposed method is very effective in correcting flicker-damaged color films.
