Abstract
Unlike scientific test functions, real world problemsare in general constrained optimization problems.Furthermore, due to undetermined first andsecond order derivatives only direct optimizationmethods can be used to attack these problems.Then, in most cases, constraints are dealt with byuse of so-called penalty functions.
