This paper studies the performance of two recently proposed stable and robust fast affine projection (FAP) adaptation algorithms - LDLT FAP and RATCHET FAP. They can, respectively, provide an exact solution at a moderate complexity and a good approximation at a complexity lower than that of any other FAP algorithms. These patent pending algorithms are expected to be practical in telecommunication and other adaptive filtering applications. |
