This paper presents a new gesture-based approach for the ergonomic evaluation of the workplaces of the physically handicapped. After a brief overview of tools using interactive simulation to perform ergonomic analysis, we describe the requirements to perform ergonomic analyses for the disabled. We then propose a framework unifying the synthesis and analysis of motions and integrating a model of disabilities based on constraints. Finally, we present preliminary results following the implementation of a constraint enabled kinematic controller. |
