In multiuser MIMO system with multiuser diversity (MUDiv) scheduler, spatial diversity plays a role to affect the scheduling gain. In order to investigate this phenomenon, we derive a new asymptotic capacity and an outage capacity of multiuser MIMO system with MUDiv scheduler using the extreme value theory. From our analysis, we define MUDiv gain by scheduling, and investigate the relationship between the spatial diversity and MUDiv. As a result, we find that the average capacity in multiuser MIMO system with MUDiv scheduler doesn't increase linearly with the minimum number of antennas at high signal to noise ratio (SNR). |
