In this paper, we present some variants of Chebyshev–Halley methods free from second derivative. It is shown that the order of convergence of the proposed methods is three at least. There are two functions and one first derivative evaluations per iteration. Several numerical examples are given to demonstrate the performance of the presented methods by comparing with some other methods. |
