Title
An Architecture for Active Network Performance Management Based on Intelligent Agents
Abstract
New active networks are integrated in global computing systems. These systems are based on programmable nodes in order to provide advanced management. In this article, a proposal for an architecture based on intelligent agents for active networks performance management is proposed. The architecture uses intelligent brokering with mobile agents to provide distributed processing with optimised variable charge in a global computing network. Different aspects, such as traffic, delays, performance, congestion, etc, are studied for providing the best quality of service with the proposed traffic management mechanisms.
