Title
An Evaluation Of The Cray T3d Programming Paradigms In Atmospheric Chemistry/Transport Models
Abstract
In this paper we compare the different programming paradigms available on the Gray T3D for the implementation of a 3D prototype of an Atmospheric Chemistry/Transport Model. We discuss the amount of work needed to convert existing codes to the T3D and the portability of the resulting codes. Tests show that the scalability with respect to the model size and the number of processors is linear except for the data parallel implementation.
