This paper defines a novel MAC framework for OFDMA-PONs and proposes two scheduling algorithms which operate in a hybrid OFDMA/TDMA manner. The trade-offs of the proposed schemes in terms of delay performance as well as computational complexity are analyzed and comparisons are performed using computer simulations. |
