Title
Design and Realization of Traffic Scene Editor Based on XML Framework
Abstract
Vehicle driving simulator has been popularly used for researching on traffic safety. Modeling the traffic scene is one of the key technologies. In this study, traffic scene editor is proposed to solve this problem by editing the parameter of each traffic element. The five important functions of it are also designed. By analyzing the advantage of XML structure; XML is suggest to storage the edit data, and the XML framework of editor was designed based on the traffic chrematistics. As an example, traffic flow was used to explain how the traffic scene editor works with XML. Then make a comparison of the XML data and non-XML data when rendering the virtual scene. The conclusion is that, the data storaged by XML framework can be rapidly loaded and has more actual rendering effect.
