Title
Contract Performance Assessment for Secure and Dynamic Virtual Collaborations
Abstract
In this paper we sketch a framework supporting contractenactment within the context of virtual organisation unitsthat are dynamically created in order to achieve a commonobjective by securely sharing resources, services andinformation. The framework is built on top of a jointextension of the policy deployment architecture for peer-to-peer communities that we proposed in [1] and thecontract enactment capability described in [6] that enablesmonitoring, mediation, arbitration and enforcement ofelectronic contracts in multiple, simultaneous closedcollaborations. A longer-term goal is to deliver a scalablemethod of setting up contract enforcement and contractperformance management infrastructures for inter-organisationalinformation systems that allow the on-demandcreation and dynamic evolution of secure VirtualOrganisations based on the ad-hoc integration of systemsacross Enterprise boundaries.
