Abstract | ||

Rough model is proposed to model vague geographic objects based on the definition of rough regions, lower approximation regions,
upper approximation regions and boundary regions. With the combination of rough model and RCC-D-8, which is a discrete version
of RCC extended into two-dimensional discrete space (ℤ2), 599 topological relations are got between simple vague geographic objects in raster regions described by intersection and
containing matrix.
