This paper deals with the extraction and modelization of the information from the experts, in an Image Processing point of view; We focus on a fuzzy rules based approach to be used in the classification stage of a large decision system. The explanation of this information in term of fuzzy logic allows us to use it as prior masses of knowledge in a Dempster-Shafer fusion stage. This initialization of the mass functions Is still one of the major drawback of this theory, However, our results show that fuzzy rules modeling is a convenient way to use the biologists' knowledge even if it is imperfect, in order to initialize the complex process of recognition. We applied this method to the Ganoderma infection of palm tree. |
