Title
Web service composition based on message schema analysis
Abstract
In current work for web service composition, the schema and structure of XML messages are abstracted and the messages are assumed to be flat, which is not the case as far as current standards and specifications are concerned. This paper proposes a method for web service composition based on message schema analysis. This method starts from message schema matching between two web services. The concepts of composable web services and composition context are defined to guide the synthesizing process. To perform message schema analysis, a method for MSL schema matching is discussed, where MSL is a formal model for XML Schema. Some usually used web service composition examples are collected from the literature to evaluate the method in this paper.
