Title
Extraction of topographic information using Multi-Scale Imagery.
Abstract
In this paper, we introduce a method, which we called MIBO (Multi-Scale Imagery Block Orientation), for orientation of multi-scale imagery block. Nowadays many different types of satellites imagery are used by end-users since earth observation satellites have been launched and produced various remote sensing data in around world. Hence, we are attracted by technologies of data fusion and integration. MIBO is developed for integration and fusion of multi-scale images to enhance the quality of 3D information. MIBO consists of two technologies. One is co-registration, which is relative orientation of multi-scale imagery and the other is ground registration, which is absolute orientation of block. Ground registration use existing registration parameters of images in block or bundle adjustment with GCPs and linear features. We generated DEM in test-bed covered block, which consist of several type of images using MIBO
