Title
Election Workflow Automation - Canadian Experiences
Abstract
Democratic parliamentary and presidential voting supported by election systems worldwide represents the essential idea behind any free society. In recent years, numerous challenges have been overcome to satisfy this fundamental principle. On one side we have low voter turnout and high electors migration, on the other, sometimes complex electoral systems such as preferential or transferable ballot voting. In addition, proliferation of modern computerized technologies is giving hope that with new automated processes and voting channels, the election process and democracy as a whole can be more accessible, secure and transparent. In this paper we are presenting the Democracy Suite as the field-proven solutions for full election automation workflow.
