Title
TV drama management system based on the video stream description language
Abstract
Due to the wider application of the Internet and digital broadcasting in the last few years, there has been a dramatic increase in the amount of multimedia data. In order to handle the multimedia resources more efficiently, we think it helpful to provide descriptions of multimedia content for their further use. We have established a framework to integrate the huge amount of multimedia resources-such as video, sound and texts-and to manage all kinds of descriptions obtained with the automatic method, by manual methods or in other description languages, such as MPEG-7. We named this framework, based on XML, video stream description language for TV movie show (VSDL-TV). VSDL-TV can provide a powerful environment for establishing a variety of applications for movie video. This paper presents an application known as "TV drama management system"
