Title
A Novel Performance Index for Characterizing Stochastic Faulty Patterns in Mesh-Based Networks
Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new performance index of network reliability namely, probability of message facing the faulty patterns, to assess the performance-related reliability of adaptive routing schemes in mesh-based interconnect networks with a variety of common cause faulty patterns. These patterns comprise of both convex and concave regions which are being widely used in the literature. Experimental examples are also presented in which the results of the suggested modeling approach are confirmed through simulation results.
