The linked data principles have gained a huge momentum by provid- ing means to interlink datasets and by that contributing to a rich user experience on the Web. Methods to interlink data however still do not cover multimedia con- tent in a sufficient way, as Interlinking Multimedia requires more than just putting resources globally in relation to each other. In order to close this gap, we propose a set of principles and requirements for interlinking multimedia content on the Web. As one major source we have identified user interaction to establish static or dynamic links between (parts of) multimedia resources. |
